延續三年前的交流因緣，2026年10月26日（星期一）上午，St. Peter’s College Initiation Year 神學院師生一行11人，在 Father Mattheus Luta 神父帶領下到訪寂靜禪林，受到禪正法師及禪念法師接待。
10位學員中，6位來自沙巴，4位來自砂拉越，皆是首次到訪。參訪活動包括聆聽佛教核心教理及寂靜禪林宗旨介紹、參觀圖書館，以及在沙門樂住大禪堂體驗安般念禪修。
茶敘交流時，Father Mattheus Luta 神父分享天主教神職人員的培育歷程，讓法師們進一步了解成為神父所需的學習與訓練。
此次參訪增進了雙方對彼此信仰與修行方式的認識，也促進佛教與天主教之間的理解與友好交流。

Following the exchange three years ago, a group of 11, comprising Father Mattheus Luta and 10 first-year students from St. Peter’s College Initiation Year, visited Santavana on Monday morning, 26 October 2026. They were warmly received by Venerable Bhikkhuni Chan Zheng and Venerable Bhikkhuni Chan Nian.
The 10 students, six from Sabah and four from Sarawak, were visiting Santavana for the first time. The programme included an introduction to Buddhist teachings and Santavana’s mission, a library tour, and a guided session of mindfulness of breathing (ānāpānasati) at the Samana Sukha Vihara Meditation Hall.
During tea and sharing, Father Mattheus Luta introduced the formation process for aspiring Catholic priests, giving the Buddhist monastics a better understanding of the training and commitment involved.
The visit fostered mutual understanding and goodwill through meaningful exchanges on the beliefs and spiritual practices of Buddhism and Catholicism.
