Just wrapped up a truly fulfilling session of the Dhamma Influencing Through Storytelling (DST) programme with a lively and thoughtful group of Buddhist leaders and practitioners in Kota Kinabalu.
Held in the calm, nurturing space of Santavana Forest Hermitage Education Centre, we spent two days diving into the art of storytelling — learning how stories can touch hearts, inspire action, and support deeper understanding in Dhamma work.
Through practical exercises, reflection, and real-time practice, participants:

It was inspiring to witness so many lightbulb moments. Many shared how empowering it felt to find a voice that not only informs but transforms. They left with more than just tools — they left with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to serve their communities in more heartfelt and meaningful ways.
🙏 Thank you for the opportunity to facilitate and walk alongside this wonderful group. It was a privilege to witness your growth, courage, and creativity in embracing storytelling as a path of transformation.
As DST continues to unfold, I’m excited to see how these storytelling seeds will grow — spreading more wisdom, compassion, and awakening in the world.
